Meditation Guide and Yoga Instructor
An early realization of the power of meditation to overcome personal suffering determined a lot of Marta’s life direction.
Having experienced a car accident in 2018,
Marta used her immobility to go deeper into the practice of meditation to be at ease with her restlessness. She became a certified mindfulness meditation guide at that time, helping others find peace and contentment. In her private coaching, Marta uses meditation as a tool to help her clients find the answers they seek through stillness.
Marta began expanding her reach to teach mindfulness in schools and believes that the youth especially need workshops in the art of being present, now more than ever. She hosts online classes in meditation and loves helping others find their own practice.
Marta is a certified yoga instructor and has been on a roller coaster with fitness her whole life. Having never been an athletic or sports oriented person, she found it hard to find a workout that she could fully enjoy and come back to time and time again. About twelve years ago, yoga brought a new joy into her life and she began studying all different forms, including Birkam, Iyengar, and Vinyasa.
Since her car accident, her teaching has shifted towards what helped heal her own body which includes- core stability, isometrics, static holds, breath work, and balance. She is certified in lower body mechanics, and she incorporates her personal training these into her classes in the hopes of passing that knowledge to help protect one’s body at any age. She teaches publicly at South Hills Power Yoga and Open Up Pgh in Pittsburgh, PA, hosts public online classes and is available for private classes or workshops.
Marta also loves to fuse playfulness, joy, and curiosity into her teaching which has lead to her hosting yoga sailing retreats around the world. A fun, intimate, relaxing, and unique adventure of a lifetime!
